Extended story: merging two payroll calendars
A Hong Kong trading group acquired a Kowloon subsidiary and needed comfort that the first combined quarter would not hide duplicate housing allowances. Cloudservsync scoped a full payroll audit across both entities for three months, with extra sampling on employees who transferred mid-period.
Fieldwork identified twelve employees whose allowance codes had been copied without closing the subsidiary’s parallel payment. The findings pack listed each employee ID, the duplicate amount, and the register lines. Finance recovered the overpayments through agreed payroll adjustments in the following month. The mild reservation from the client: evidence from the subsidiary’s prior vendor arrived in uneven batches, which extended the calendar by one week.
