About Cloudservsync
We are a Hong Kong practice focused on payroll audit management — examining how pay is calculated, approved, and remitted.
Why payroll deserves its own audit attention
Statutory financial audits touch payroll at a high level. Day-to-day payroll teams chase deadlines. Between those two rhythms, errors in overtime rounding, housing allowances, or MPF relevant income can persist for months. Cloudservsync was formed to sit in that gap: independent payroll audit management for employers who need findings they can hand to a board, an internal auditor, or a group finance lead.
Origin in Hong Kong practice
Our work is rooted in Hong Kong employment and contribution patterns — multi-entity groups in Admiralty and Kowloon, trading houses with regional assignees, and professional firms that outsource processing but retain accountability for accuracy. Meetings are held at Admiralty Centre Tower 2 when clients prefer a neutral table; fieldwork often happens at the client’s payroll desk.
How we approach engagements
We favour sample-based testing with clear population definitions over vague “health checks.” Every exception cites the register line, the remittance evidence, and the policy or contract clause in play. Mild findings stay mild; material ones are escalated in the closing meeting, not buried in an appendix.

Values we keep visible
- Specificity over slogans — findings name the pay element and the period
- Respect for payroll owners — interviews assume competence, not guilt
- Proportion — sample sizes match risk and headcount, not a fixed template
- Confidentiality — working papers stay with the engagement team
Working with clients
You keep ownership of payroll operations. We provide independent review and a path to remediate. If you need ongoing processing or software selection, we will say so and point you elsewhere rather than stretch this practice beyond audit work.
